About the ACT & SATComparing the ACT & SAT
PSAT/NMSQT is the practice SAT that gives juniors a chance to qualify for the National Merit competition.  (Read more about National Merit here). You'll take the PSAT on (to be scheduled Oct 10th, 2018) with Mr. Palmer. (Please see Patty Braun in the front office) to pay the $16 by check or cash. Payment is due by (update date Aug. 2018) to reserve a a spot.   Results will be given early in December.
Juniors and Seniors: If you are going to a 4-year college please register to take the SAT and ACT tests. Check here or the Career Center for test dates. If you've take the SAT in August most scores are available now.  Go to:

  •  PLEASE check for location for each date. 2018 - 2019 test dates here!
  • Take the test that best suits you!  
  • Do not opt out of the essay portion unless you know the college(s) you are
  • applying to doesn't require an essay.
