ADVANCED EDUCATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Students enrolling in math or english classes at Folsom Lake College or El Dorado Center please review message below. Once you receive your final high school grades you can submit those grades for math and english.  There are two steps:

Step 1: Students that are meeting a prerequisite with their final high school grade should submit their unofficial transcript with their FLC student ID number to FLC-WelcomCenter@flc.losrios.edu. Students will receive an email that directs them to check their eServices account for placement results.

Step 2: If the student is not placed at their desired level in Step 1, students can challenge their placement, they should fill out and submit a Prerequisite Challenge Form and their final unofficial transcript to:

English:   FLC-EnglishPrereq@flc.losrios.edu Please allow 3-5 business days to receive communication about the challenge and further direction regarding registration.

We have added more sections of higher level math courses and english courses so that even students registering as late as June would still have options available.

For more information about math and english placements, please visit the web-pages below.

Students who have finished their spring Folsom Lake College class at VA or on campus, don't forget to have your "Official Transcript" mailed to Mrs. Braun.  Please use VA's address.  You can also pick up your "official transcript" in a "sealed" envelope and drop off with Mrs. Braun before June 21st or after July 15th.
